Catalogue of Western Libraries' Databases
Western Libraries has a catalogue of 790+ databases available to all faculty, staff, and students. Some of the databases included are the Dictionary of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Google Scholar, PubMed, SAGE Online, Scopus, Web of Science, etc. If you need access to a database, a good place to start would be to check Western Libraries’ catalogue of databases, which are free to use.
To access all the content in a database that Western Libraries subscribes to, sign in to the database with a valid Western account.
Although the majority of the content in these databases is free, some content may be blocked by a paywall. If this happens, most databases have a filter option to only display the content that Western has access to. If you have a problem accessing content, contact Western Libraries by email for support. They will get back to you within one business day, if not sooner.
